Join the Water Projects Europe event on Sustainable Farming Innovation featuring UNIVERSWATER

On 28 October 2025 (14:00–17:00 CET), UNIVERSWATER will take part in the Water Projects Europe – Harnessing Digital & Resource Recovery Innovation for Sustainable Farming, hosted at the Scandic Copenhagen during Water Innovation Europe 2025 conference (27-28 October).
This high-level clustering event brings together four pioneering Horizon Europe projects—FARMWISE, UNIVERSWATER, RAINS, and GEORGIA—all of which are advancing the transition towards water-smart agriculture across Europe.
-
FARMWISE is developing a cutting-edge system that integrates AI, remote sensing, and precision farming for region-specific water and nutrient management.
-
UNIVERSWATER is building integrative frameworks for the circular water economy and stakeholder engagement, fostering sustainable governance models.
-
RAINS is advancing precision agriculture and resource recovery techniques to optimise water use on farms.
-
GEORGIA focuses on data integration and decision support systems to strengthen resilience in agricultural water management.
By showcasing these complementary approaches, the session will highlight how European research and innovation can unlock synergies, tackle common challenges such as scalability and policy alignment, and accelerate the shift towards a resilient, sustainable, and water-smart agri-food system.
The UNIVERSWATER project will actively contribute to the discussion, sharing insights on governance, stakeholder collaboration, and circular approaches to water management in agriculture. If you want to attend the event and know more, please visit the official website.
