UNIVERSWATER Joins the Conversation at the VIII Water Innovation Day in Barcelona

Innovation doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens through collaboration. This year, the UNIVERSWATERproject is proud to announce that its partners will be attending the VIII Water Innovation Day in Barcelona. Hosted by the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) at the CosmoCaixa Auditorium, this annual gathering is the premier meeting point for the Catalan water sector.

The event has established itself as a key platform for exploring innovation trends and securing funding opportunities. For UniversWater, this is a prime opportunity to share our project goals with a diverse ecosystem of companies, researchers, and public administrators.

The day will kick off with a welcome from Jordi Cros (President of CWP) and Xavier Amores (Director of CWP), followed by a crucial technical session on the AEI 2026 Call, which helps organizations prepare collaborative R&D proposals.

One of the most exciting segments of the day is the Elevator Pitch session, dedicated to R&D projects focused on the sustainable use of water. This aligns perfectly with the core mission of UniversWater, and we look forward to discovering new initiatives and potential synergies.
